Having a sufficient waste disposal and harmful materials control framework in place, contributes to a better and well managed environment for everybody. With ESG present, we have to ensure works carried out are for the best intentions of the environment.

HOW WE CAN HELP?

For each project we prepare and maintain a Site Waste Management Plan (SWMP). This estimates, by recording, the quantities and destinations of each waste stream generated.

We apply the concept of the “Hierarchy of Waste” to guide and encourage us to reduce the amount of waste materials generated. We recover the maximum value from the wastes that are produced. Where possible we will try to re-use rather than recycle and after this process, we then recycle rather than send materials for energy recovery or landfill.

We ensure that all our contractors we use for waste management are approved and have a renewable/recycling plan in place. We do this to improve carbon footprint and to keep it as minimalistic as possible to create a better environment for years to come.
