Terry L | CEO

Terry began his career as a young trainee architect with a passion for the construction process. On his journey he learnt about style and putting quality first, and now, as proud CEO of YGO, Terry’s mission is to lead the business and deliver top quality construction services.

Terry is proud to have worked for over 40 years in both Social Housing and Commercial Property Services sectors, in Senior Management as a Chartered Builder and Surveyor, and accredited Firas Inspector. He has proven his skills both at home and abroad, undertaking a range of senior operational and corporate roles in surveying, construction and development. Over the course of his career, Terry has been able to procure multimillion pound projects from conception to completion.

And when he isn’t helping us to create his vision, Terry enjoys spending time with his family, supporting his local football team, Welling United, and fund-raising for various charities close to his heart.

 

Chris P | Head of Health & Safety and Building Surveying Services

On his arrival, Chris took on the challenge of taking over Health and Safety and professional Building Surveying Services for YGO.

Chris is sharing his extensive experience with the YGO team in building surveying, project management, health and safety, CDM regulations and fire safety. Chris, being a Chartered Building Surveyor, is one of the most qualified and well-respected professionals in the industry, with well in excess of 40 years’ experience.

Most recently, Chris, as Head of Health and Safety, has spear-headed tunnelling under London for the Cross Rail and Northern line extensions, including the Tideway and Silvertown tunnelling.

John F | Head of Business Development and Building Surveying Services

John is a multi talented and driven member of our staff. He started off as an apprentice and ended up in the Boardroom. Highly qualified and a lateral thinker, he supports YGO with business development by providing many years of experience and expertise as a Director for procurement, estimating and tending.

John first made his major achievement when he was a Director at Breyer Group PLC for 10 years. In that time, John was instrumental with his Department in increasing the Breyer Group PLC’s £15m annual turnover to in excess of a £100m annual turnover.

John will ensure that YGO upholds its commitment to sustainability. He has a strong and resilient portfolio concerning procuring multi millions of pound’s worth of deals for meeting the growing sustainable energy demands in the market.

Nicole K | Head of HR & Business Administration

 

Nicole supports the company’s administration and office management department. She is a key part of keeping the company running on a daily basis.

Nicole has worked for 20 years as a Civil Servant in Whitehall and Westminster.

Nicole has worked for 20 years as a Civil Servant in Whitehall and Westminster.
She has worked as a Human Resources manager, responsible for pay and recruitment.
Her other roles have included PA to the UK’s Meat Trade Adviser, encompassing overseas visits to the European Commission in Brussels and the FAO in Rome. She was also Senior Facilities Manager undertaking the sustainable refurbishment and management of several Government buildings in London.

She has worked as a Human Resources manager, responsible for pay and recruitment.
